England and Brazil, two of the most glamorous teams which will take part in the tournament, are expected to set up their training base in Mumbai, Goal can confirm.  

Paraguay and New Zealand are also expected to camp in the city. The teams are expected to reach Mumbai by the 2nd or 3rd week of September. The tournament starts on October 6th across six venues in the country. 

While Brazil’s group games will be held in the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium (Kochi) and the Fatorda stadium (Goa), England’s matches take place at the the Yuba Bharathi Krirangan (Kolkata). However, the teams have decided to set up their bases at the Mumbai Football Arena.

The four teams are also expected to play practice games against each other during their camp. 

England, who qualified to the tournament as the European U17 championship runners up, have been drawn in Group F alongside Chile, Mexico and Iraq. Brazil, on the other hand, are up against Spain, Niger and DPR Korea in Group D.
