RELATED: FIFA 23: The Best Teams To Manage In Career Mode
FIFA 23’s Pro Clubs mode is very similar to previous iterations of FIFA. However, with a new FIFA comes a new meta. Players will want to make sure they get the best out of this fan-favorite game mode and by following tips they can double their chances of success. The Pro Clubs game mode being updated is something we want to see in FIFA 23, as it has gone a few years without any meaningful updates in the eyes of the player base.
6 Play As A Team
Pro Clubs is built on teamwork since every person only controls one player on the pitch (unless playing as Any). It is important in Pro Clubs to play as a team to have the best chances of winning. The fastest players in FIFA 23 won’t mean a thing if the team doesn’t work together.
Soloing with the ball is unlikely to result in goals most of the time, and can annoy members of the team if a player refuses to pass and tries to run through the opponent’s defense alone. Passing between teammates and utilizing link-up play is a great way of succeeding in Pro Clubs.
5 Communicate With The Team
Communication is important in anything, this is no different in Pro Clubs. The best way of succeeding in Pro Clubs is to communicate with the team and pass among all players. Having the best central midfielders in FIFA 23 won’t mean a thing if the team isn’t communicating and playing together.

Joining voice chat with the team makes communicating easy and will definitely give an advantage over opposing teams that don’t communicate on voice.
4 Always Have An Any
Players should always make sure they have someone going as the Any, as they can bet online opponents will have someone. Playing against a team that has an Any is an arduous task unlikely to result in victory, so players should level the playing field by making sure they have an Any as well.
The AI for players on Pro Clubs is notoriously bad, so avoiding having to rely on them will definitely help when climbing up the online divisions. Having an Any in defense will make gamers feel like they have the best center-backs on FIFA 23.
3 Max Pace For Attacking Roles
Attacking roles are heavily bolstered by Pace, it’s been this way on FIFA Pro Clubs for years, and it’s no different on FIFA 23. When earning skill points for playing online games, players should look to max out their Pace if they are in an attacking role (ST, LW, RW) before putting their skill points into anything else.

After max pace, players should look into stats such as dribbling and shooting to maximize their success. The best shooting and dribbling in the world can’t do anything if a Pro is too slow to move past any defenders, which is why Pace is the most important skill for players to focus on as it’s some of the best strikers in FIFA 23.
2 Make Sure To Use Conservative Tactics
Just like with every other game mode, players can affect the tactics in their club, stuff like build-up play and defensive tactics. These affect the way the squad sets up and marks the opposition, so players should take great care when affecting their tactics. Having the best left-backs in FIFA 23 won’t mean anything if a team doesn’t have conservative tactics.
Building the tactics to be very attacking-based can leave teams open to the counter, so taking a more conservative shape in the tactics is a great way of maintaining some control over the team without leaving the team open to a counterattack.
1 Either Go Very Tall Or Very Short
Players can affect the height of their Pro in the main menu of the Pro Clubs game mode. It is advised that players either make their Pro very tall or very short. The benefit of a tall player is that they will win nearly all aerial duels, which is very useful if the Pro is an attacking player and the team is getting a lot of corners. On the other hand, players can make their Pro really short but have them have a base level of speed that’s higher than taller players have.
It’s advised to start off really short, boost Pace as much as possible and then raise the height as the Pace increases. Just beware that a tall player can never be as quick as a short player as FIFA balancing it. Short strikers can be some of the fastest players in FIFA 23, giving a team an advantage.
FIFA 23 is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
